BABY.jpg
Baby34 viewsBaby was a very special pug-chihuahua mix that made everyone she was around wanting to pet her. She is very energetic and loving. She is a jumper so she had to be watched since she could jump the doggie fences with ease. A gal in Carnation seen Baby at a pug gathering and fell in love with her. She is now enjoying being spoiled by her new partner in life.

Dixie (Diva II)61 viewsThis is the second Diva we had and she got renamed by her new partner to Dixie. She came to us as a 10 month old puppy. She is one of those pugs that will not let you out of her sight, she has to be with you every minute (OK, so that it s trait that most pugs have). She is now living in Tacoma and doing fantastic.

Rosie (helping hands)111 viewsThis is ROSIE.
Rosie is a 9 year old fawn female pug.
Rosie is blind; missing one eye with the other rendered useless.
Rosie came to us when a good samaritan rescued her from a less than ideal environment.
It's hard to say what kind of life she has had in her years, what kind of care she received, what kind of bed she slept on or even if she had a meal everyday. Although she is without eyes, you will look at her and clearly see she is a quiet, loving soul who deserves these minimums and so much more. Rosie will do well in a reserved home without stairs. Davis Edwards is fostering Rosie and tells us she is very gentle, not afraid, has a good appetite, and really likes sleep in the bed and cuddling. She is a real heart warmer for sure.

Winston3_1-5-09.jpg
Winston 75 viewsThis is WINSTON.
Winston is a 5 year old fawn male pug.
Winston had it all, he was loved, he was spoiled, he was the apple of his people's eye, he was the king of his castle. Then came the human baby. Winston was not willing to relinquish his Top Dog title and was reluctantly surrendered to Pug Rescue. He is understandably extremely frightened, confused and distraught, wondering where his perfect life went. Winston will need a generous dose of patience and understanding while he works through his transition and realizes that there is another family out there for him who will love him just as much.
Obviously, he will do best in a home without children and ideally, with someone who just wants a pug to spoil - Winston fits the bill.

Diva45 viewsDiva was our first Diva of the year. She came to us as a lost pug in the Tri Cities area. She was very thin but with some extra loving care from her foster parents, she filled out great. She was very special and earned her name as Diva

Babe (helping hands)75 viewsBabe is an 8 year old blind girl. She was surrendered when her elderly person could no longer provide her care.
So sweet and mellow. She can do stairs once she knows where they are and will jump up and down on the bed and sofa. She moves with a grace in her stride as she maneuvers around and seldom runs into things. Babe is a Helping Hands pug and is being fostered by Davis Edwards. Davis says she is physically and mentally a very active dog, acts like a young dog and likes to go outside. She uses the doggy door and is willing to go out in the rain to do her business. Babe is a very smart dog, learns her way around quickly and adapts to change well. Babe is a superior pug, and the blindness is not much of a handicap. She is good with other dogs but would do best if she was in a one dog household, as the other dogs will sometime startle her, but she is not on edge because of it.
Babe is a Helping Hands pug.
